Packed October Lineup Highlights Venue Versatility

Great Park Live, an outdoor amphitheater located within the City of Irvine-owned Great Park, is preparing for a busy month with a schedule that blends cultural festivals, community celebrations, and live music. The venue, which has a capacity of 10,000 people and is operated by PSQ Productions, will host events ranging from international food and music festivals to rock concerts and outdoor movie screenings throughout October.

The month begins with the Mehregan Persian Festival on Oct. 3–4, followed by the Irvine Global Village Festival on Oct. 10. The programming continues with the Asian Food, Music & Cultural Festival on Oct. 17–18. On Oct. 23, the venue will host a concert featuring the band Rise Against, supported by Alkaline Trio and Teen Mortgage. The month concludes with Irvine Nights Halloween Movies on Oct. 30.

Mark Entner, founder and CEO of PSQ Productions, stated that the October schedule demonstrates the flexibility of Great Park Live. According to Entner, the venue is welcoming cultural festivals, community celebrations, a national touring concert, and a movie night within a single month.

Summer Success and Long-Term Development

The current lineup follows a successful summer for the venue. Great Park Live hosted the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields event this summer, which was sold out and welcomed more than 45,000 guests. The venue also serves as the summer home of the Pacific Symphony.

Looking ahead, PSQ Productions has outlined future plans for the site through 2027. These plans include additional concerts, cultural festivals, and community events designed to showcase the versatility of Great Park Live.

The development of Great Park Live is part of a broader initiative by the City of Irvine. The city is advancing its vision for the 1,300-acre Great Park as a premier Southern California destination for sports, recreation, arts, culture, and entertainment.

Infrastructure improvements continue across the park. In September, In-N-Out Burger became the first business to open at The Canop, a new development within the Great Park complex.
