Afghanistan Women's Refugee Team Set for UK Cricket Fun

The Afghanistan women's refugee cricket team is all set for a UK escapade! Starting June 22, they’ll be hitting the pitch for T20 matches and training at Marleybone Cricket Club. They’ll also cheer on the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Final at Lord's on July 5. Clare Connor from the ECB praised their spirit, while Mel Jones pushed for more chances for displaced female athletes. This tour is a huge win for inclusion in cricket!
