Asian Games 2026: Both Teams Get Gold if Final is Rained Out

In a surprising twist for the Asian Games 2026, if the men's cricket final gets rained out, both teams will snag gold medals! This fun new rule starts on October 3 at Kōrogi Sports Park in Japan. Unlike 2023, where the higher seed took gold, now if no one bats for five overs, they both walk away with shiny prizes! The Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method still applies if rain interrupts a completed match.
