Badrinath puzzled: Why is Reddy in the ODI squad?

Former India cricketer Subramaniam Badrinath is scratching his head over the inclusion of Nitish Kumar Reddy in the ODI squad for the series against New Zealand starting January 11. He can't believe they left out in-form Ruturaj Gaikwad, who just scored a century against South Africa, while Reddy has only managed 27 runs and no wickets in his two ODIs. Badrinath finds this selection puzzling.
