Washington Sundar out of New Zealand T20 series due to injury

Washington Sundar is sidelined from the T20 series against New Zealand due to a side strain from the first ODI in Vadodara. He only bowled five overs before feeling discomfort. With the T20 World Cup 2026 around the corner, Ayush Badoni steps in for him. Sundar will rest for at least two weeks, while Tilak Varma is also out after surgery.
