Why is Varun Chakaravarthy not playing in IND vs NZ T20I?

In a surprising twist, India's star spinner Varun Chakaravarthy was left out of the playing XI for the third T20I against New Zealand on January 25 in Guwahati. Thankfully, skipper Suryakumar Yadav confirmed at the toss that Varun is just taking a breather, making room for Ravi Bishnoi while Jasprit Bumrah returns. Varun had been on fire in the series, but today he’s enjoying some well-deserved rest.
