Digger: A Bold Satire That Stumbles on Its Own Wit

In Digger, directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, we meet oil mogul Digger Rockwell. The film starts as an eco-drama but suddenly turns into a rehearsal for a play about greed and the planet. Tom Cruise shines with his serious acting, while Riz Ahmed brings the laughs. It looks great but struggles to connect with its characters, making it a bold yet confusing watch.
