African American Historical Society – Migration Stories

Citizen Film joined forces with the African American Cultural and Historical Society to produce an inaugural short film about African American migration, which screened at the African American Art & Culture Complex and other citywide cultural venues during Black History Month in February 2019. This initial exploration of migration narratives will lay the foundation for Citizen Film's collaborative process with the historical society, expanding to include a chorus of voices as they document personal and social histories.
