Still reeling from Smurf's death, Pope, Craig, Deran, and J contend with the fallout as rivals circle, all seeking revenge. With the Codys' empire leaderless, the clan's fragile alliance buckles under pressure as each member vies for supremacy. Meanwhile, they press for new information on Pamela Johnson, the estate beneficiary Smurf named. In a separate thread set in 1984, a 29-year-old Smurf grows increasingly volatile as she carves her own path, raising Pope and Julia and spearheading dangerous jobs alongside a mix of new and longtime allies.
