Season five of the top-rated Emmy and Peabody award-winning CNN Original Series Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown began on Sunday, April 26 at 9pm ET/PT with twist – a tour of the forward-looking culture of South Korea with each scene presented in reverse order. The eight-episode season also features trips to Miami, Scotland, Madagascar, New Jersey, Budapest, Hawaii and Beirut.

Bourdain explores the pulse of hyper-modern Seoul, a city that aims to become the world's leading exporter of popular culture. The culinary journey features Korean fried chicken and the retro army stew, budae jjigae, prepared with Spam, canned baked beans, frankfurters, ramen noodles, and kimchi.
