Black Waters

Aguas Negras is an experimental documentary centered on the Cuautitlán River. The film probes the passage of time and the river's pollution by foregrounding conversations across multiple generations of women in the filmmaker's family who grew up along the river, in a municipality identified as having the highest perceived insecurity in the State of Mexico.
