On October 2, 2005, Evan, the 15-year-old son of Hart and Dana Perry, jumped to his death from his New York City bedroom window. This poignant documentary chronicles Evan’s life and death, told by his filmmaker parents and others who knew him, and centers on his lifelong struggle with bipolar disorder. It explores the complexity of his illness as his family navigates the maze of mental illness.
