Buddies
David, a naïve graduate student, volunteers as a 'buddy' for people dying of AIDS. He is assigned to Robert, an intensely political lifelong activist who has been shunned by friends and family after his diagnosis. Despite their sharply contrasting worldviews, the men forge a bond as David's inner activist awakens and Robert's need for emotional release is fulfilled.
