Bureau of Paranormal Investigation

During a mission to apprehend drug lords along the Yunnan border, a special forces unit accidentally intrudes into the ancient caves of Shu, disturbing age-old rites. The squad is nearly wiped out; only Shen Shuang and anti-drug police Sun Desheng survive, rescued by a mysterious white-haired man named Wu Hao. After this event, the two men inadvertently enter the "Civil Affairs Investigation and Research Bureau" and gradually become entangled in a string of supernatural phenomena, uncovering the veil of a parallel world.
