Life aboard the cruise following the Island Special Examination proves far from smooth sailing. Almost immediately back, the first-year students of Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School confront another special exam where both class and individual points are at stake. Beyond a labyrinthine ruleset, tensions rise with Kakeru Ryuuen and Kei Karuizawa entering the fray. Enraged by the previous test's outcome, Ryuuen is determined to surpass every class in the new challenge by any means necessary. Meanwhile, Karuizawa, a linchpin of Class D, teeters under the weight of her past. The stage is set for Kiyotaka Ayanokouji to once again deploy his meticulous planning, prescience, and ruthless manipulation to steer Class D to victory as rival forces close in, threatening to bring them down.
