With the third term underway, Ayanokouji and his classmates, promoted from Class D to Class C, depart for the school camp. They will participate in a distinctive examination dubbed the Mixed Training Camp, a cross-grade challenge that unites all levels. True to its name, the assessment is gender-based, forming groups drawn from different classes and graded on a collective basis. They must collaborate with students from classes they previously opposed as rivals to secure a high score. Most daunting of all is the rule: groups that fail to reach the threshold will be expelled. The curtain is about to rise on the turbulent third semester.
