This documentary examines the Sixties Scoop, a period when Canadian policies authorized child welfare authorities to remove Indigenous children from their families and communities and place them in white foster homes. It highlights Indigenous resilience through narrative sovereignty as experienced by the Little Bird series’ Indigenous creatives, cast, crew, and community members.
