Cormac McCarthy's Veer

Cormac McCarthy has spent the last twenty-five years crafting his novels from a mountaintop retreat at the Santa Fe Institute (SFI) in New Mexico, a research center devoted to the formal analysis of complex systems. This documentary, filmed in the SFI library and across the desert, follows McCarthy in conversation with his colleague David Krakauer as they explore isolation, mathematics, character, and the nature of the unconscious.
