Cuban Dancer

Alexis, a gifted and proud pupil of Cuba's National Ballet School, devotes his days to perfecting chassé and entrechats alongside his girlfriend and dance partner Yelenia. When his family relocates to Florida to reunite with his sister, he must recalibrate his aspirations within a strikingly new landscape. Plagued by rejection and homesickness for his homeland, he feels adrift. He must carve a path through the realm of American ballet while staying true to his roots.
