In this edition of CYCLE AROUND JAPAN, we journey through the Izu Peninsula in spring, when the mountains glow with vivid greenery and the flowers are in full bloom. Our destination is the World Heritage site of Mount Fuji, where we explore the beauty of Mount Fuji and the essence of spring in Japan. Located southwest of Tokyo, the Izu Peninsula is a resort destination set amid a natural landscape of mountains and ocean. It is also a renowned hot spring region in Japan, featuring numerous fishing ports that attract visitors with their fresh seafood and soothing hot springs.
