This multimedia performance fuses B-movies, ecstatic dancers, and a cohesive blend of animations with live and recorded poetry. It interweaves personal elegies and remembrances, including an auto-eulogy, alongside zombies and a roster of cultural references such as Allen Ginsberg, John Denver, Black Sabbath, Charles Manson, Wheel of Fortune, Buddy Rich, Jelly Roll Morton, Max Fleischer, Donald O'Finn, Feedbuck, Akio Mokuno, Donald Miller, and Emmalee Sutton, to name but a few. 99's multimedia Danse Macabre is joyous, funny, terrifying, thoughtful, and playful.
