On a cursed island ravaged by a mysterious plague known as 'the Malaise', a king commissions his alchemists to forge a cure to save his people. Yet the antidote mutates the realm's inhabitants into monsters. A prophecy foresees the rise of an immortal hero who will restore peace by slaying the Demon King, the mastermind behind this chaos. It falls to Laure Esposito, the young Guardian of the Order of Truth, to seek this chosen one bearing the Flamehead and rescue the world from annihilation. Fortunate for her, the chosen one cares little for finding a cure to the Malaise. Peace? He simply wants to be left alone!
