Demirkırat: The Goverment
Spring 1950 marked the dawn of Turkey's multiparty regime—a new decade, a new order, a new government. Democracy's first test was beginning. The National Chief of the single-party era had returned to his Pink Mansion. The opposition's address was clear now. When it comes to power, power was shared from day one by a tripartite balance: the DP Group in Parliament, Celal Bayar in the Mansion, and Adnan Menderes in the Prime Ministry.
