Season 10

Carter returns from Africa and goes straight to Abby's bedside. Seeing him, she asks for the key back and remains chilly toward him throughout the day. The chill lifts only when Neela Rasgotra, the new med student, answers a call for Carter—the message: Luka is dead. Carter decides to return to the Congo to bring the body back. Neela endures a tough first day in the ER, earning Chen's ire after Pratt flirts with her, while Gallant, now a fully licensed physician, comes in to help mentor her and show her the ropes.
