Peter drinks heavily at a bachelor party despite promising Lois he wouldn't, which leads to his dismissal from the Happy-go-Lucky toy factory for arriving hung over. He soon applies for welfare, but a mix-up results in a $150,000 check being issued. When Lois discovers the windfall, Peter decides to return the money by dropping it from a blimp at the Super Bowl. His plan earns him an arrest, and his family ultimately comes to his rescue.
