Faust

Faust, an aging yet brilliant man consumed by despair, struggles to find meaning in his life. After exhausting a range of scientific disciplines, he makes a pact with the devil, Mephistopheles, to feel life, joy, and desire again. Mephistopheles promises him complete gratification through worldly pleasures: outstanding parties, being young again, and the love of a woman. To fulfill the pact, Faust offers his soul after death. Their journey begins and leaves many people in total despair.
