Fear

In Fear, documentary filmmaker Michiel van Erp compiles a mosaic of Amsterdam residents grappling with a variety of anxiety disorders. Today, more people seek professional help for anxiety than for depression, making anxiety the leading mental illness in the Netherlands. The film follows a small cohort of these individuals as they confront their fears and strive to carry on with their lives within Amsterdam's bustling, cosmopolitan landscape.
