Four co-ed pairs compete for the keys to an armored car filled with $1 million in gold, with a prize trip to Universal Studios Orlando awarded to the winning team. Stunt 1 — Helicopter Cargo Net: A helicopter flies 400 feet above a lake at 90 mph as the men step onto a hanging cargo net, collect four flags, then climb back into the helicopter to seize a final flag. The women then perform the same sequence. The three teams with the highest total flags completed in the fastest time win a key to the armored car, while the team with the fewest flags is eliminated. Stunt 2 — Tunnel Escape: Paired partners, chained together, must maneuver through a ventilation system, crawling through shafts while contending with rats, spider webs with tarantulas, raw sewage, and complete darkness; at two points they pull levers to extinguish fires blocking their path. The two fastest teams earn their second keys and advance to the finals; the slowest team is eliminated. Stunt 3 — Underwater Heist: After securing their third keys, teams race to remove $12,500 in gold bricks and $100 in gold coins from a submerged armored car. The men open the car door so the women can access lockers containing coins. The men collect gold bars from the truck while the women collect the coins, with only one member of each team allowed inside the car at a time. The team that accumulates the most money in ten minutes wins the prize money, the trip to Universal Studios Orlando, and the title Heist Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt — Boa Cage: The Mosley family of Tempe, Arizona competes, with two family members reaching into a box of biting Amazon Tree Boas and unscrewing nuts from screws on the bottom of the cage to free keys. Using those keys, they unlock a box containing a $2,500 Capital One credit card, and have one minute to complete the challenge.
