Twelve aspiring Food Network Star hopefuls descend upon the storied Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles, chasing a life-changing break. Upon arrival, Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay greet them with troubling news: they must pass one more audition before they are officially considered finalists. To heighten the stakes, a new contender enters the competition—the winner of Food Network Star: Comeback Kitchen. Special guests Robert Irvine and Monti Carlo join Giada and Bobby to determine who will be the first contestant sent home.
