Fortean TV

Fortean TV was a British paranormal documentary series that aired on Channel 4 from 29 January 1997 to 6 March 1998. Produced by Rapido TV, the program explored anomalous phenomena and the paranormal, drawing on material from Fortean Times magazine and presented by Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe. Across three series, Fortean TV delivered 22 half-hour episodes plus an hour-long family Christmas special. Series 1 offered 9 original episodes on Wednesday evenings, capped a week later by a tenth 'Best Of' edition. Series 2 comprised 8 original episodes, returning the following January and airing on Friday evenings. Fortean TV Uncut, a four-episode adult spin-off featuring unseen material from the first two series alongside new items, followed immediately and returned to Wednesday evenings.
