Daniel Villarreal, a rising pianist and composer, is instructed by his renowned musician father, Luis, to perform one of Luis's most celebrated pieces for his graduation concert. With the support of his boyfriend, Bruno, Daniel strives to prove himself as both a musician and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, stepping out from his father's shadow and the pressure that comes with it.
