Ghostly Encounters

Ghostly Encounters is a Canadian paranormal documentary television series that premiered on July 16, 2005, and aired through January 19, 2011, on Viva/W Network. The program also aired on A&E's The Biography Channel in the United States. Created by executive producer Phyllis Platt, it was produced by Brian Dennis and hosted by Lawrence Chau. The series blends interviews with dramatic recreations to examine the events that led its subjects to accept or reject occurrences as supernatural, and how those experiences have helped or hindered them. Ghostly Encounters won the Gemini Award for Best Original Score in 2007.
