Gaby is thrilled to learn that her heroine Galaxy Girl will be performing a special show in Hurston. She hopes to wear a Galaxy Girl costume to the assembly, but money is tight, so she borrows funds from her parents' cashier, planning to return the costume and secure a refund. During the show, something goes wrong as the model space ship is stolen. Since the costume was on sale, she cannot return it. Devastated, she misses the chance to meet Galaxy Girl. Her worry deepens as the team leaves to confront Calvin, and fear rises when she finds the space ship model in her toy chest.
