Ramon, the couple's son born in Colombia, has just started a romance with Henry, a barista, while repeatedly encountering the enigmatic numbers 11:11. Duc, adopted from Vietnam, thrives as a high-earning motivational architect, yet his celibacy becomes a source of tension for Audrey. Ashley, born in Liberia and an influential fashion-industry executive, increasingly questions her marriage to Malcolm. And 17-year-old Kristen, the youngest, resents the ordinariness of her life, especially when contrasted with her more exotic siblings. After a troubling incident at the party, Audrey and Greg take Ramon to therapy with Dr. Farid Shokrani, a practitioner whose unlikely connection to the young man defies explanation.
