Hoffmann's Eyes

A reimagining of E.T.A Hoffmann's gothic tale "The Sandman" and the opera "Tales of Hoffmann". From childhood, Hoffmann has been haunted by The Sandman and believes that a visitor to his father was really The Sandman. During a voyage to Venice, he encounters a strange glass vendor who reappears throughout his life. This film was never completed.
