Set in Holliston, Massachusetts, the series follows Adam and Joe, two friends who chase the dream of becoming successful horror filmmakers. They juggle financial hardship with the realities of life and dating after college, all while working at a Boston-area cable access station where they also host a late-night movie program, The Movie Crypt.
