This film guides the audience to the Centre for the Blind in Laski, inviting a close look at the reality of blind children—an existence of sounds, smells, and shapes studied with care. With their fingers, they read the physiognomy of living animals and then recreate them in clay. Through the film’s aesthetic approach, these seemingly simple activities performed by the centre’s wards gain a deeper, symbolic dimension.
