Kafr Kassem
On the eve of the 1956 Israeli attack on Egypt, Israel declares martial law across the occupied Arab territories without any prior notice. When the villagers of Kafr Kassem returned home from the fields, they were butchered and killed in what is today remembered as the Kafr Kassem massacre.
