Set against the mountains that surround him and the people who inspire him, Path to Everest follows mountain athlete Kilian Jornet as he reveals his deepest fears, his contradictions, and his passions. Summits of My Life is Jornet’s personal project, spanning five years as he travels to the world’s most iconic peaks to pursue FKTs (fastest known times) for both ascent and descent. The undertaking is deeply rooted in a purist, minimalist vision of mountaineering and a corresponding set of values. The experiences of each challenge are captured across a range of films.
