When Eddie is forced to "toe the party line," the issue has more to do with the GPO than with politics. Compelled to share his telephone line with Bill and Barbie, it is not long before he gets his wires crossed. After overhearing Bill discussing a plan to hijack him, Eddie fears for his life and rushes to the police for protection.
