Minnesota Hardcore traces the birth of punk in the Twin Cities by spotlighting how local acts The Suicide Commandos, The Suburbs, Curtiss A, Replacements, and Husker Du emerged from this scene. The hardcore surge arrives in Minneapolis when Black Flag plays at Jay's Longhorn. Soon after, the 7th Street Entry becomes the hub of hardcore following a D.O.A. show. The film features interviews with Greg Norton, Steve McClellan, and Tom Hazelmyer.
