Wilbur Post and his wife Carol move into a beautiful new home. When Wilbur peers into his new barn, he discovers that the former owner has left behind a horse. This horse is no ordinary horse—he can talk, but only to Wilbur, which sets in motion a string of misadventures for Wilbur and his troublemaking sidekick Mister Ed.
