During the reconstruction of the Valmiera Theatre building (2021–2024), artistic life never paused—the development of new productions and performances in the Round Hall continued unabated. The promised one winter of patience stretched into three. Rehearsals and performances unfolded across various locations in Valmiera, yet the theatre edifice, despite water and heat outages, was never abandoned. Alongside construction crews, through dust and cold, actors and other theatre staff pressed on in the rehearsal hall, the Round Hall, the carpentry workshop, and the administration, working as if nothing were unusual or difficult.
