My Name Is Sara
The real-life account of Sara Góralnik, a 13-year-old Polish Jew whose entire family perished at the hands of the Nazis in September 1942. After a grueling escape to the Ukrainian countryside, Sara assumes the Christian best friend's identity and seeks refuge in a small village, where she is taken in by a farmer and his young wife. There she uncovers the dark secrets of her employers' marriage, a revelation that intensifies the burden of the secret she must protect: her true identity.
