Hae-jun, a cynical news anchor, bears the imprint of a mother's abandonment in his youth and a grandfather's relentless criticism that brands him the sole flaw in an otherwise flawless family. Despite his grandfather's ignorance, he ascends to prominence as a principled reporter. His world is jolted when he unexpectedly encounters a time machine, a possibility he never believed could exist. Yoon-young lives a routine life as an editor at a publishing house until she discovers her mother's lifeless body by a riverside. One day, her life takes a drastic turn when she is struck by an invisible car near the same riverside and awakens in the year 1987. The two gradually realize that the repeated coincidences tying their lives together hold a meaning deeper than mere chance.
