Nikita assumes command of Division and, alongside her fiancé Michael, her protégé Alex, and a covert team, vows to capture every rogue Division agent and shut the operation down. But the organization's corrupting influence begins to unravel her family in ways she never anticipated. Even worse, Nikita's nemesis, Amanda, teams with the shadowy global organization known as The Group to destroy her. Together, they execute a shocking assassination that threatens to tilt the balance of world power forever. Nikita remains on the run after being framed for the assassination of the President of the United States. Dale, a reporter for ENN, questions what really happened that night. Nikita sees a chance to clear her name and re-enters the country to speak with Dale, but walks directly into a trap laid by Amanda. The team is alerted, and Michael sets out to locate Nikita before Amanda does. While Birkoff and Ryan assist Michael from their new mobile office, a high-tech aircraft, Alex stakes out a human-trafficking ring and discovers The Shop is involved. Things go south, and Alex is surprised when Owen/Sam arrives at the scene.
