Oichi Fushigi Gatari

Set in the Fukagawa district of Edo, the story follows Oichi, a determined young woman who dreams of becoming a physician and aids her father, the doctor Shōan. Oichi possesses a singular gift: she can hear the voices and glimpse the figures of those who have died with unresolved regrets. With a buoyant, hopeful outlook, she teams up with a local police chief to pierce the shadows of human nature and unravel mysteries along the way. While it delivers the intensity of a historical mystery with unexpected culprits, it is also a coming-of-age saga in which Oichi struggles and ultimately forges her own path through the power she holds.
