East Blue
As a youngster in East Blue, Monkey D. Luffy encounters the Red Hair Pirates and vows to become the next Pirate King. A decade later, he sets sail, begins his first adventures, and starts recruiting the inaugural members of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Luffy defeats Alvida, and the pair set forth in pursuit of additional crewmates.
