The Straw Hat Pirates reach Sabaody Archipelago, the final stop on the Grand Line's first leg. While seeking a passage beneath the Red Line into the New World, they clash with a brutal slave-trade syndicate that supplies the World Nobles. Luffy and Zoro are identified as two of the Eleven Supernovas—rookie pirates bearing substantial bounties who have just arrived at the archipelago. A cascade of events erupts, throwing the archipelago into chaos, and the Straw Hats face their greatest challenge yet.
