Oranges and Sunshine
This story centers on Margaret Humphreys, a Nottingham social worker who uncovers one of the most significant social scandals of recent times: the forced migration of children from the United Kingdom to Australia and other Commonwealth countries. Almost singlehandedly, Humphreys reunites thousands of families, holds authorities to account, and draws worldwide attention to an extraordinary miscarriage of justice.

Immensely powerful and moving. This is a story that needs to be told. Of the effects of the forced migration of children. Angering and saddening, I shouted through my tears watching this. The same truths as in Philomena told very differently but equally harrowing. Brilliantly acted and by everyone but of course by Emily Watson as always.
